Second Announcement

Arrival Date: September 19, 2008
Departure Date: September 26, 2008

Location: The conference will be held in the rest house of Yerevan State University, located in the picturesque city of Tsaghkadzor, situated 40 km from Yerevan. Tsaghkadzor, is 1900m above sea level and surrounded by breathtaking mountains and forests. Average temperature is 20 - 25 oC. Transportation from Yerevan to conference location will be provided. The participants will be met at the Yerevan Airport if arrival time is reported. Lectures will begin Saturday morning, September 20, and end Friday evening, September 25.

Abstracts: The abstract (at most one page) written in LATEX should be sent by e-mail: mathconf@ysu.am. We intend to publish abstracts volume that will be provided to participants during the conference.

Deadline for abstracts: May 31, 2008.

Proceedings: Selected contributed papers will be published in the special issues of Journal of Contemporary Mathematical Analysis (Armenian Academy of Sciences). The papers should be written in LaTeX.

Deadline for contributed papers submission: December 20, 2008.

Visa: You can get a visa at the time of arrival in Yerevan, at the airport for $30-35 (recommended) or in an Armenian Embassy in your country. One can get a visa on the Internet at http://www.armeniaforeignministry.com/eVisa/ , the combined application processing and e-Visa fee is $60.

Payment: All local expenses, including conference registration, lodging, sightseeing tours, conference proceedings and the banquet, as well as meals, Yerevan airport transfers to and from Tsaghkadzor, are included in the 450 Euro conference fee for participants and 300 Euro for accompanying persons. The payment should be made in cash upon the registration (unfortunately, we can not accept credit cards or cheques). The Organizing Committee will be able to partially reimburse the local expenses for the participants from FSU countries and young mathematicians.
