Introduction to Neural Networks

The presentation includes a general introduction to Neural Networks (NN) with applications to regression and classification problems. Perceptrons and other simple-design networks will be considered including multilayer perceptrons with different activation functions. Training of networks via classical optimization algorithms will be discussed.
